GM, Toyota Stand Out in J.D. Power Dependability Rankings

Phil Long Dealerships is so proud to represents all our brands, from Mercedes Benz to Kia, Ford and more! But we must take a moment and congratulate two of our vehicle makers for their rankings from J.D. Power in dependability.

Both General Motors and Toyota received great marks in the category of dependability of three year old vehicles.

Toyota was one of the top four spots in the category of annual vehicle dependability, a ranking that tracks owner complaints per hundred vehicles. The Toyota vehicle had lower that 114 problems per hundred vehicles, a very impressive feat indeed.

Another part of the study recognizes the manufacturer through nine car and ten light-truck segments. GM grabbed eight segment-leading models with Toyota being able to snag six!

Highest-ranking vehicles in passenger car segments:

Midsize car: Chevrolet Malibu

Midsize sporty car: Chevrolet Camaro

Highest-ranking light-truck models by segments:

Compact MPV: Toyota Prius v

Compact SUV: Chevrolet Equinox

Minivan: Toyota Sienna

Large light-duty pickup: Toyota Tundra

Large heavy-duty pickup: Chevrolet Silverado HD
